Our Roommates program offers an innovative opportunity for businesses, families, friends, or individuals to provide a homelike setting for our residents by transforming individual bedrooms into warm and happy spaces. A donation of $2,000 provides the ongoing maintenance and refurbishment of the sponsored bedroom for one year. Roommates donors are invited to renew their support on an annual basis.
Within the Roommates program, you are also giving the hands-on option to transform a youth bedroom by visiting YWS and decorating the room yourself as part of a YWS volunteer experience! Decorating includes painting and bedding.
With each bedroom renovation, a plaque is placed on the exterior of the bedroom door, thanking the company, individual, or group who funded the Roommates program.
