RiseUp Rexdale is a powerful expression of what’s possible when a community comes together to lift up its youth. Rooted in pride, resilience, and collective action, this movement invites residents, families, and local businesses to play an active role in shaping brighter futures for young people facing homelessness.

In communities like Rexdale, access to shelter and support services are not always close to home. This creates a critical gap where youth in difficult times are often forced to leave their neighbourhood to find safety and care. At a time when stability, connection, and familiarity matter most, that distance can make an already difficult journey even harder.

As Youth Without Shelter enters its next chapter, RiseUp Rexdale reflects a renewed commitment to meeting youth where they are and strengthening the systems of support around them. It’s about showing up, standing together, and creating real, lasting pathways for young people to succeed.

We’re looking for volunteers to support community outreach efforts across Etobicoke and Rexdale as we spread awareness and build momentum for the RiseUp movement.
