- $30,000 goal: 100%
UPDATE
WOW!
Because of you, our incredible community of supporters, we were able to reach our goal of raising $15,000 in less than two weeks time! We are so grateful for all your support, and can’t thank you enough for donating to our Life Skills renovations.
Thanks to two very generous YWS donors, this $15,000 will be DOUBLED to help support the youth here at Youth Without Shelter. With this $30,000, we aim to create a multi-purpose space to accommodate a wide variety of programming, classes, and training for our youth.
Our Life Skills program gives both current and former residents vital life skills training and support, based on their individual needs. We look forward to updating our Life Skills Room into a functional, multi-purpose room, to be able to further our supports for our youth. A renovated space will provide new opportunities for our residents giving access to fitness gear and classes for personal health (including yoga and meditation), recreational art and music programming, the ability to visit our growing YWS library and provide a welcoming and safe space to meet with our Life Skills team throughout their stay with us here at YWS.
Now that we have surpassed our goal, we will take any additional funds and dedicate them towards equipment, materials and other greatest needs related to our Life Skills programming and activities.
